Meet the Women behind Armor Equestrian

It started the way the best things do — with two little girls, two ponies, and absolutely zero rules about how much glitter was too much.

Our daughters started riding together in 2019 and hit it off immediately. Back then, their world was tackless rides, pony club sleepovers, and spending hours decorating their horses with paint, glitter, and whatever sparkly accessories they could get their hands on. It was pure, carefree, joy.

Then 2020 hit. And then the hits kept coming. COVID. The loss of two beloved horses. Cancer. Strangles. Injury. And falling victim to an equestrian scam that swept through the community and left a lot of good people heartbroken.

Two and a half years of loss has a way of making you forget what the good days feel like.

But we remembered. We remembered the glitter.

Armor Equestrian was born out of that — a commitment to bringing the fun back to the barn. Riding will always have its heartaches and challenges. That's just the deal. But if we can sparkle up our ponies, laugh a little, and remind ourselves why we fell in love with this sport in the first place? We'll be just fine.
